Review: Wildest Dreams Best of YA 2017 subscription box

There are a lot of subscription boxes around. For quite some time I have been looking to subscribe to a book one but I couldn’t find one where I could trust its content and that was also affordable. As much as I love a lot of the boxes around I couldn’t commit to £25 or more per month. Those boxes are so good and great value for money, but unfortunately I’m a poor bugger that works freelance for TV (hopefully not for much longer!) and never knows when next pay check is coming.

Then lo and behold; Zoe Collins, who blogs at NoSaferPlace and whom I have been following for just a few months, announces her subscription box. I’m all about supporting fellow book bloggers, especially someone like Zoe that creates such good content. I knew from following her that I could trust that the content of the box would be exactly what I would like. She set up to provide a YA book subscription – The Wildest Dreams Book Box – that would also come with a bath/body product and a bookish tea, plus extra little surprises…and the best thing is that it’s only £18 including shipping. I was sold!

Being the end of the year, Zoe decided to make the December box with the theme Best of YA 2017. This first box was only open to 50 people and I’m so happy that she sold out quite fast. Of course I was on it and was able to nab a subscription for myself! This box ended up being my Christmas present to myself.

The box arrived just before Christmas and OH MY! It was so worth the money. Look at that beautiful box! (lights not included!)

The Best of YA 2017 box included:

The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed

Personalised note from the author

Sorting Hat Bath Bomb by Geeky Clean

Signed Book of Fire Bookmark and Postcard

After The Fire – Chocolate Orange Tea by Rosie Lea Tea

Surprise little Chocolate

The chocolate is already gone, and I have tried the tea recently and it’s very nice. I was a bit apprehensive when I saw chocolate and orange, as I like both separate but I’m not a big fan of any actual chocolate with orange flavour. However, the tea is excellent! It gives off a nice cocoa smell but then has a nice orangey taste instead. Also the packet can appear small but you only need a teaspoon so it lasts for longer than it looks. #WinWin

I haven’t tried the bath bomb yet (living in a shared house, not the best to do it!) and the book shall be read this year, so make sure to keep your eyes out for a review.

Overall I’m so happy I decided to go for this book box, because it’s so affordable and I can trust that its contents will make me happy every month. I can’t wait for the January box to arrive now!

If you think this box it’s just what you have been looking for, make sure to check out the website. The February box will be on sale tomorrow, the 15th of January, and the theme is TRUTH & LIES! Make sure to be quick to nab one, you won’t regret it and you will also be supporting a super awesome book blogger who truly deserves it.

When in doubt, just treat yo’ self!

I’m in the same bit as you with these subscription boxes! Although I love bookish merchandise it’s so much money to commit monthly. So I think I will keep shopping around and wait for a mermaid or witch themed box 😍 also, what’s the premise for the book you got?! It sounds good!
