This Or That Tag

Today I have a tag for you all. The lovely Ash has tagged me ages ago and I kept forgetting to do it, but today is the day! So here it goes.

• Choose one of the options, you don’t have to tell the reasons why you chose that but you can also do them if you want to.

THE QUESTIONS:

Reading on the couch or on the bed?
Usually, I prefer it in the couch. I tend to get tired reading in bed. However, at the minute I’m in a house share with no living room, so the only option is to read in bed.

Male main character or female main character?
Female, because I grew up reading too many books written by Men with Male protagonists! Growing up in Portugal, the variety wasn’t great. So now I read what I wanted to read growing up.

Sweet snacks or salty snacks when reading?
I’m a sweet tooth!

Trilogies or quartets?
Trilogies, because quartets need to be very good for me to not lose interest.

First person point of view or third person point of view?
I don’t think I have a preference.

Reading at night or in the morning?
The “joys” of being unemployed I guess, is that I can read anytime of the day.

Libraries or bookstores?
Bookstores, because my record with libraries in England isn’t great. Let just say they kept charging me for books that I have already returned! However, in Portugal I was very dependent of libraries growing up, as books are so bloody expensive to buy.

Books that make you laugh or make you cry?
To be honest, any book makes me cry. I’m an emotional whore and literally cry at everything! Even books that are suppose to be a laugh.

Black book covers or white book covers?
Even though white books are very pretty, I do get worried about taking them out to read as they can get damaged quicker than black ones. So for that reason I choose black covers.

Character driven or plot driven stories?
You really need both to be honest. But I think I find it easier to power through if I connect with the characters even if the plot is meh, than the other way around.
