Rapid Fire Book Tag

I’m going to be honest, I haven’t been tagged by anyone, I just found this Book Tag online and thought it would be fun to do it. It was!

The Rapid Fire Book Tag was originally created by Girl Reading on her YouTube channel.

E-Book or Physical Book?

Physical Book!

Paperback or Hardback?

I find the Paperbacks more pratical for my little wrists that dislocate so easily, but I don’t mind Hardbacks either.

Online or In-Store Book Shopping?

In-Store! However, there’s a pandemic going so do your shopping online and be safe.

Trilogies or Series?

Series! I’m the type of person that when something is good I get attached to it, so the more the merrier!

Heroes or Villains?

I do like a bad boy…

A book you want everyone to read?

Since I’m about 14 (I do get the irony of this btw) I always tell people to read The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold.

Recommend an underrated book?

I don’t even know what is a underrated book these days, first one that comes to my mind is Every Day by David Levithan.

The last book you finished?

The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller.

The Last Book You Bought?

How The King of Elfhame Learned to Hate Stories by Holly Black and Illustrated by Rovina Cai

Weirdest Thing You’ve Used as a Bookmark?

Slice of cake…

Used Books: Yes or No?

I tend to buy a lot of my classics second hand, I also like when friends give me their spare copies.

Top Three Favorite Genres

Fantasy/Sci-Fi, Contemporary and Horror.

Borrow or Buy?

BUY!!!!

Characters or Plot?

For the book to be amazing it needs both!

Long or Short Books?

Depends on the story. Some are just perfect short for example Contemporary YA but Fantasy I do like a big boi!

Long or Short Chapters?

Short, because I like to read by chapters as sometimes I’m really tired but the chapter never ends and I do hate stop reading in the middle of one.

Name The First Three Books You Think Of:

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins

A Throne of Swans by Katharine & Elizabeth Corr

The Jigsaw Man by Nadine Matheson

Books That Makes You Laugh or Cry?

Chloe Seager’s books always make me laugh! Cry is actually much easier to do because I literally cry at everything, and I mean everything!

Our World or Fictional Worlds?

Fictional!

Audiobooks: Yes or No?

Yes. Especially before the pandemic, when I was commuting to work, so handy. However, I’m very picky when it comes to narrators. My favourite was The Confession by Jessie Burton and Narrated by Hayley Atwell (obvs!)

Do You Ever Judge a Book by its Cover?

Yes…not all the time but some covers are a bit bad!

Book to Movie or Book to TV Adaptations?

Depends on the type of book. Contemporary and Romance books straight to movie. Fantasy are always best when made into TV Adaptations (of course that also depends on who is producing it too).

A Movie or TV-Show You Preferred to its Book?

Pretty Little Liars (I’m Sorry!)

Series or Standalones?

Some stories are made to be short and some need various books. When I get attached to the characters I do like to read about them for as longs as I can!

I really missed doing one of these. I’m not tagging anyone in particular. if you come across this and want to do it…go ahead. Have some fun.

If there’s any tags you would like to see me doing, just tag me away!

Be Safe, wash your hands and wear a mask!
